Do I have to commit to anything?

How much freezer space do I need?
A rough rule: one cubic foot holds about 25–35 pounds. Most members find a single freezer drawer covers a delivery. You choose the size and frequency, so you’re never buried.
Fresh or frozen?
Frozen at peak and vacuum-sealed, which holds quality better than a “fresh” case that’s been sitting for days. Thaw what you need, when you need it.
Where do you deliver?
Most of New England, New York, and New Jersey — via home delivery or 1-day ground shipping, from Portland, ME to central NJ. Enter your zip when you build your box to confirm.
Can I really pick every cut?
Yes — that’s the Build Your Own plan. Choose everything from everyday ground beef to cuts your butcher rarely carries. Prefer we handle it? Curated builds a balanced mix around your preferences, and you can exclude anything.
Is this like organic?
We go beyond it. Organic certification is expensive and often co-opted by large operations — much “organic” beef is still feedlot-raised on organic grain. Our farms pledge no pesticides, herbicides, antibiotics, or hormones, and we audit against the Walden Way.
